Crummer Graduate School of Business to be endowed by a corporation, it was created to recognize an eminent scholar in finance with a distinguished record of teaching, scholarship, and community involvement. Weddell Chair of the Americas

The chair was established by College trustees in 1948 as a memorial to Ambassador and Mrs. Weddell and their service to inter-American relations.
