Get ready to relive your timeless Rollins memories at Alumni Weekend 2014. Whether you attend every year or this is your first time back on campus since graduation, the weekend offers something for everyone to enjoy. Once you arrive on campus, your first stop should be the Faculty Club to pick up your registration packet filled with all the materials you need for the weekend. Just look for the balloons at the corner of Holt and Park Avenues. Have a wonderful time and enjoy your weekend reminiscing and rediscovering this special place.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW DURING ALUMNI WEEKEND
Why do I need my Alumni Weekend packet, and when will it be available for pick up?
Packets include a parking pass, name tag(s), schedule of events, and other important information you will need for the weekend. You must display an official parking pass in your vehicle to park on campus during the weekend. Alumni and their guest(s) need name tags for admittance to all events.Packets may be picked up at the Faculty Club during Registration hours on Friday, March 14, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Packets will not be distributed prior to March 14.
How do I add additional events to my registration?
Please stop by the Alumni Weekend headquarters in the Faculty Club during registration hours, and a staff member will be able to assist you.
What type of transportation will be provided?
Shuttle service will be provided to and from campus for alumni staying at the Best Western/Mt. Vernon Inn. Golf cart taxis will be available throughout the weekend for those in need of assistance to and from on-campus events. Alumni are responsible for any other transportation needs such as airfare, taxis to/from the airport, and rental cars.
Where should I park when I arrive on campus?
If you arrive on campus during registration hours, 10-minute parking will be available in front of the Faculty Club and Alumni House for packet pick-up.Long-term parking will be available in the SunTrust Plaza Parking Garage on Lyman Avenue and in the Hauck parking lot on the corner of Park and Holt avenues. The parking pass included in your registration packet authorizes garage and on-campus parking.
How should I dress?
Dress is comfortable and casual during the day. While not required, it is not uncommon for attendees to dress more festively in the evening. We recommend you break out the blue and gold!
