Why did you choose Rollins?

At Rollins I knew I wouldn’t be just a number.  I would be able to work intimately with my professors and peers  in order to truly absorb and connect to the material being taught, especially in the theater.

When did you first become interested in the theatre?

When I was 7 years old I played Wendy in a production of Peter Pan and never looked back.

On an emotional or intellectual level, what will you take with you when you graduate? 

I will take my new and more grounded sense of self.  Rollins has allowed me to experience points of view from all walks of life and in turn, I now know who I am and who I want to continue to be.  I will take my ever-growing love of theatre; only intensified by the inspiring direction of our phenomenal professors.

What are you currently working on within the department?  (this could be a class project, a production, an audition piece, etc...)

I was recently cast as Audrey in this fall’s production of Little Shop of Horrors.  I could not be more excited to get to work.  

What outside activities are you involved with? (campus clubs, work studies, etc...)

I have worked with Explorations as a Summer Orientation Leader for the past two years, I am a new ensemble member of Rollins Improv Players, and a proud member of the Laughing Club !

 

Anything else about YOU you want to include?

I love my Rollins family and will never forget the amazing opportunities I have been given to grow as a performer and as a person.  Love to Blair and Dr. Cavenaugh.
