Dr. Gretchen Meyers George D. and Harriet W. Visiting Scholar and Assistant Professor Classical Studies Program		Gretchen E. Meyers earned her Ph.D. in Classical Archaeology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003.  She has extensive excavation experience in Italy, most recently serving as the Director of the Archaeological Field Lab at the Mugello Valley Archaeological Project (www.smu.edu/poggio) in Italy.
