One award that celebrates staff committment is the Be Like Thad Award that is bestowed annually in the spirit of Rollins College’s mission of Global Citizenship and Responsible Leadership. This award is named in honor of the 12th president of Rollins College, Thaddeus Seymour.
In 2009, 2010 and 2011 Rollins has been ecognized in the "Great Colleges to Work For" rankings released by The Chronicle of Higher Education. Rollins is also ranked 6th in the Orlando Sentinel's 2010 Top 100 Companies for Working Families. Rollins has ranked in the top 20 for the last three years in the annual competition.
