Just for Fun

As a student at Rollins, you will find an exciting and vibrant campus environment. Every day is a new adventure, and much of that adventure is experienced through the many on-campus recreational outlets and resources provided to students. Whether you are trying catch pancakes during the Pancake Flip, competing in Greek Week’s volleyball tournament, gathering with friends for some live music at Dave’s Down Under, or the first student to spy the Rollins Fox on Mills lawn signifying “Fox Day,” daily life on campus at Rollins offers a colorful range of fun activities.

Fox Day, Rollins CollegeFox Day

One of Rollins’ most cherished and long-standing traditions, Fox Day occurs once a year. In the early morning hours of one day each spring, the College president places a statue of the Rollins Fox on Mills Lawn. This signifies to the entire campus community that classes for that day have been canceled, and students, faculty, administrators, and staff get a surprise day off.
