Exhibition Proposal Policy and Guidelines

CFAM welcomes exhibition proposals by artists and curators. The curatorial staff will carefully consider submissions on their relative merits but we cannot guarantee inclusion on the future exhibition schedule. We recommend visiting our exhibitions in person and/or exploring our Web site to get a sense of whether your material meets our mission and goals.

Guidelines

  1. Submit materials by mail only.
  2. Please include a précis and preliminary checklist (including the following: artist, title, creation date, medium, dimensions, current owner, location, and thumbnail images). The cover letter should address such issues as auxiliary publications, potential venues, and other cost factors.
  3. In addition to the above, we also recommend incorporating the following into your submission packet: a short biography, curriculum vitae, artist or curator statement, and any relevant press materials.

Please send all submissions to:

Curatorial Department
Cornell Fine Arts Museum
Rollins College
1000 Holt Avenue–Box 2765
Winter Park, FL 32789

PLEASE NOTE

Staff review submissions every six months, generally in February and July. Submitted proposals will not be returned. If there is sufficient interest from CFAM staff, we will contact you about any further steps.
