Rachel K. Ward is a global scholar of visual cultures and is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication at Rollins College.  Her work has been recognized in The New York Times, Vogue (Paris) and Artforum's "Best of 2004."  She was curator of VB54 by Vanessa Beecroft and for the contemporary art exhibitions "Eispavillon" (2003), in the Swiss Alps, and "Terminal 5" (2004), at John F. Kennedy International Airport.  She also consults in the fashion industry with combined experience form Ralph Lauren, Saks 5th Avenue and the Festival International de la Mode et de la Photographie at Villa Noailles, France.  She has an M.A. in Art History and a Ph.D. in Media and Communications from the Europäische Universität fűr Interdisziplinäre Studien (EGS) in Switzerland, where she studied with Jean Baudrillard, Slavoj Zizek and others.  She has published on artist Ed Ruscha for the Museum of Art of the XXI Century, Rome, and contributes to Art Review

"Curating" by Michael Phillips

Michael Phillips was guest curator of the William Blake exhibition at Tate Britain and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY, 2000-2001, and co-editor of the exhibition catalogue.  His most recent book William Blake and the Terror A Biography of William Blake in Lambeth during the Anti-Jacobin Terror in Britain 1792-93, is nearing completion.  Phillips has been awarded British Academy and NEH research fellowships for his work.  Formerly, Convenor of the interdisciplinary MA in English and History of Art, William Blake and the Age of Revolution, Centre for Eighteenth Century Studies, University of York, where he was Reader from 1999-2005.
