Using the Knowles Memorial Chapel for Weddings

Eligibility

To use the chapel for a wedding, either the bride or groom must be:

  • A graduate of Rollins College either undergraduate or graduate schools
  • A son or daughter of a graduate of Rollins College
  • A full-time student at Rollins in any one of its degree-granting programs
  • A faculty or staff member, or their children
  • As of Spring 2019, unaffiliated guests can book Knowles Chapel in conjunction with Rice Family Pavilion for a rehearsal dinner, reception, or farewell brunch. Rice Family Pavilion must be booked in order for unaffiliated guests to use the chapel for their wedding ceremony.

Officiants

The Dean of Religious Life no longer performs weddings but she can refer you to someone if needed. Ordained ministers, priests, and rabbis in good standing in their religious communities can officiate. The person performing the wedding is responsible for conducting the rehearsal.
