Rollins Teams Up With Winter Park to Implement Emergency Alert System

The safety of the students, faculty, and staff at Rollins College is of the highest priority. Rollins monitors weather conditions and has an extensive emergency plan to address weather emergencies and other crises that may affect the campus. In the event of a weather emergency, the Emergency Operations Plan Team stands ready to meet and work in cooperation with the City of Winter Park, Orange County and other government agencies to coordinate emergency procedures.

In the event of an emergency, the Rollins College Emergency Preparedness Plan will be activated to ensure the safety of the campus. At the direction of the Emergency Operations Team, information will be disseminated to members of the Rollins community, including employees and students, as well as to the Central Florida community.
