Get Involved

So you've been abroad. Now what?

Welcome back!

We hope you have had a great experience living and learning in another culture and if you are wondering what to do with this new knowledge, how to build on your experiences, we have some programs you will want to take a look at.

Global Ambassador Program

What is the Global Ambassador Program and what is a Global Ambassador? The Global Ambassador Program (GAP) is an opportunity for study abroad students to promote, facilitate, plan and organize events for prospective and returning study abroad students. A Global Ambassador is a study abroad student who, through their time abroad, has grown a deep appreciation for his/her cross-cultural experience and who would like to inspire his/her peers to go abroad and returnees re-enter campus after studying abroad. Your stories, guidance, and cultural knowledge are our best resource to promote study abroad and enhance the study abroad experience at Rollins. Students who have experienced study abroad are the best ambassadors for our office. For more information, email Dawn Wharram

Student Site Leaders

Help run one of our field studies. Our student site leaders work with the Office of International Prorgrams and a faculty member on developing and leading one of our field study programs. You will assist a faculty member in creating an intinerary, planning local sites to visit, the logistical needs of the trip, as well as, develop and distribute publicity for the study. For more information, email Mike Rainaldi

Photo Contest

Be sure to submit your photos from your study-abroad experience in the Annual Fall Photo Competition. You could win a cash prize and/or have your photo used on the International Programs website or on our marketing materials.  We will announce the contest and the deadline in conjunction with other International Education Week festivities in the middle of the fall semester.
