2013 Program Dates

 

Late February– Early March Interviews with Rollins and Disney representatives; Collection of Rollins Exchange Student Application forms and Disney Employment Applications
May 3 Final date for submission of Rollins Exchange Student Application forms
May 17 If all forms are submitted and students are accepted, Rollins will issue immigration forms—DS-2019 & approval letters necessary for visa application
June 14 Full payment for program to be paid by wire transfer to Rollins
by June 30 Students should schedule appointments with the U.S.  Embassy for their visa application

August 5

Students should arrive in Orlando to begin program; if students arrive prior to this date, they will be on their own for accommodations and transportation. Students arriving on August 4 will be picked up by college-arranged transportation and brought to campus.  Students will participate in intensive orientation program while living on campus at Rollins
August 12 Students will move to Disney housing and begin their Academic Training experience with the Disney International College Program
August 12 — August 16 Disney Traditions training program
August 26 — January 10 Students will return to Rollins each week for classes and activities, except between December 5 – January 7
January 10 Students will complete their Academic Training experience at Disney and must depart Disney housing
January 11 — February 9 Students are allowed a 30-day grace period in which to remain in the U.S. if they wish to travel within the U.S.; students must depart U.S. by February 16
