The Cornell Campus Center is the hub of student activities on the  Rollins College campus.  It includes a variety of dining facilities, conference rooms and offices. Lounges serve as informal gathering places to study, socialize, read or watch one of two large-screen TVs.

The $7.8-million center, with its commanding views of the campus and Lake Virginia, was dedicated on February 18, 1999, following a year and a half of construction. The center received its initial boost with a $3-million gift from Rollins alumni and benefactors George D. and Harriet W. Cornell, for whom it is named. The project also was supported by a $2 million gift from Rollins alumnus and trustee Thomas
P. Johnson, as well as gifts from other generous alumni, parents and corporations.

The multi-level facility was designed by Shepley Bulfinch Richardson and Abbott Architects of Boston, constructed by Walker & Company, a Winter Park-based contractor, and landscaped by Carol R. Johnson Associates, Cambridge. Mass. The center features Rollins' signature Spanish-Mediterranean architecture, with its tile roof and outdoor plazas, patios and terraces.
