Passphrase Tips & Suggestions:

  • Make up a sentence that is relevant to you but in a way that is not easy to guess Example: Oh boy, pizza is great!
  • Mix it up! Use misspelled words, spaces, numbers and punctuation – all of which strengthen passwords. Example: My C@ts are 2 Qute!
  • Don’t use popular quotes, song lyrics or lines from movies.
  • Don’t use sample passphrases shared in the tips section.
  • Don’t use personal information like names, birthdates, etc.
  • Don’t share your password with anyone.
  • DegreeWorks Users: Avoid using &,$,+,%, and quotation marks
  • Mac Users: When you change your Rollins password you will have to make a change in the keychain on your mac to be able to print. Instructions to change the keychain.
  • Information Technology will NEVER ask you for your password, either personally or via an email. If you receive an email asking you to give account information, it is a phishing scam – don’t do it!
