Director of Instructional Design & Technology

Brooklynn leads the Instructional Design & Technology team as they partner with faculty and staff in the pedagogical and technical integration of technology. She has her Ph.D. in English Studies from Illinois State University, and prior to working at Rollins taught literature and writing courses. As college teacher for seven years, her own experiences using technology to support active learning and engagement cultivated a broader interest in instructional design and technology and led her to Rollins. She continues to teach an online course on communication and interpersonal relations, and her current research and interests include gamification and students as producers. 

Bob Casper

Instructional Technologist

Bob’s pedagogical and technical knowledge from almost two decades in higher education informs a collaborative relationship with faculty today. His areas of focus include UDL (Universal Design for Learning), Open Pedagogy & OER (Open Educational Resources), as well as Mobile Learning Technologies. Years of teaching in Higher Education have also bolstered an understanding of the classroom environment. As an Instructional Design Consultant in Higher Education, prior to Rollins, Bob values the appropriate use of technology to support active learning strategies and outcome-based pedagogies. He received his undergraduate degree from California State University–Northridge in Radio/TV-Film, with an emphasis in Multimedia Management, and a graduate degree in Instructional and Performance Technology from Boise State University. When not talking about himself in the third person, he enjoys spending time with loved ones, coaching his daughter’s teams, going on guided fishing tours, and relaxing with family bingeing the latest shows. 

Hao Do

Instructional Technologist

Hao has a master’s certificate in Instructional Design from Full Sail University and a bachelor’s degree in Digital Media and Interactive Systems from the University of Central Florida. He has worked in higher education for eight years, developing curriculum and teaching students in the Recording Arts degree program. He has trained learners on how to problem solve and troubleshoot computer systems as a Mentor-Advisor for Apple Inc. He enjoys developing instructional content through the use of emerging technologies and interactive systems. His research and interests include visual design and communication, integrative learning and instructional design.
