What: Rollins’ Winter Park Institute hosts social justice and trade union activist Robert Muehlenkamp as he presents “The Economy is Not Like the Weather: Economic and Political Reality.” This event is free and open to the public.

Background: Robert Muehlenkamp has been active in the social justice and trade union movements for more than 35 years. He has spent his career working on behalf of “the people” to promote more fair and just lives. Over the last several years he has coordinated campaigns with dozens of unions at corporations including General Electric and Delta and American Airlines. He was one of three coordinators for the 1982 Peace Rally in Central Park and is a co-founder of U.S. Labor Against the War (USLAW) in Iraq. Don’t miss this well-known change master when he speaks at Rollins College Feb. 11.
