What: Thane Maynard (Class of 1976), author and executive director of the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden discusses "Hope for Animals and Their World: How Endangered Species Are Being Rescued from the Brink." Book signing immediately following lecture.
Maynard is best known as writer and host of numerous wildlife programs, including the daily “public radio series” the “90-Second Naturalist,” which airs on stations across North America. He has been featured on “Good Morning America,” “Today,” and “CBS.”
Maynard is the author of thirteen books on wildlife. His latest book, Hope for Animals & Their World which he co-authored with Jane Goodall, will be available in September, 2009.
