Rollins Talent Search inspires Central Florida Students to exceed expectations through academic advisement, mentoring, and leadership. Our goal is to provide low-income, first generation students access to college.
The Rollins College Educational Talent Search program offers an onsite college preparatory advising program to selected students in grades 6-12 in target schools throughout the metro-Orlando area. This open access US Department of Education TRiO program offers services to students at no cost, targeting students with limited family income and the potential to be the first generation in their families to achieve a four-year degree from the college of their choice. Services include a persona focus on academic advisement and mentoring college and career exploration, standardized test planning, and an exploration of financial aid options.
Educational Talent Search Counselors provide assistance to participants on an on-going basis. Participants are involved with the program from the time of initial selection until enrolling in a post-secondary educational program.
