The Asian studies degree program at Rollins College empowers students to explore one of the world's most important regions.
Overview
Explore the importance of Asia’s large population, long history, rising economic significance, and complex and diverse societies and cultures. As the peoples and nations of the world become increasingly interconnected, you’ll be prepared for a global career by having mastered the subtle nuances of this key region.
By immersing yourself in courses on Asian history, culture, and politics, you will:
- Develop an understanding of the historical, cultural, political, and economic forces that have shaped modern Asia.
- Master the rudiments of an Asian language.
- You will also experience cultural immersion during a study abroad in Shanghai, Hong Kong, or Osaka.
