An Award-Winning Environment
Rollins is frequently recognized for everything from compensation and benefits to career development programs and job satisfaction.
For the fifteenth consecutive year, The Chronicle of Higher Education has recognized Rollins as a "Great College to Work For" in its 2023 rankings. The Chronicle’s Great Colleges to Work For program facilitates an institutional audit, as well as faculty, staff, and administrator evaluations of their institutions, and recognizes colleges for achieving high employee satisfaction in up to 12 "great academic workplace" categories. Classified as a medium-sized four-year institution, Rollins not only made the rankings but also earned the Honor Roll (top 10) distinction. As an Honor Roll institution, Rollins was recognized for being one of the most cited colleges across all categories, achieving its highest marks in eleven survey categories:
- Collaborative governance
- Confidence in senior leadership
- Facilities, workspace, and security
- Job satisfaction
- Professional and career development programs
- Respect and appreciation
- Supervisor and department chair relationship
- Teaching environment
- Tenure clarity and process
- Work/life balance

Our internal engagement surveys reveal that our employees are very proud to work for Rollins, are confident about its future, are willing to go above and beyond what is expected of them, are committed to producing top-quality work, and feel good about the work/life balance and benefits they receive.
