Inspiring the Future

The Great Debate is a series of exhibition debates hosted by Rollins College at middle schools, high schools, colleges, and universities in Central Florida.

The Rollins College Debate Team is grateful to be able to showcase international debating at the campuses of our outreach partners in Central Florida, including Valencia State College, Seminole Community College, Keiser University, Apopka High School, Lake Nona High School, Oviedo High School, Olympia High School, Timber Creek High School, Wekiva High School, South Seminole Middle School, Meadowbrook Middle School, and many others.

Our outreach programs allow us to perform exhibition debates with our international exchange partners and thereby engage Central Florida students in dialogue about many of the issues that impact our world.

Colleges, universities, and debating societies in the state of Florida that are interested in joining the Rollins College debating outreach program are encouraged to contact Dr. Eric Smaw.
