Dr. McLaughlin teaches courses about the invisible children in U.S. society, global perspectives of education, learning and teaching about the Holocaust, and the history of U.S. education. His scholarly interests include the history of immigrant education in the U.S., and the challenges of educating students in an Anne Frank school in Germany. He has led field study trips with Rollins students to Amsterdam, Netherlands, and now to Krakow, Poland.
