Rollins has some of the best campus food anywhere in the country, according to The Princeton Review and the College’s own students. The test-prep heavyweight placed Rollins at No. 10 (up from No. 15) in the Best Campus Food category of its annual ranking of the nation’s best 392 colleges.
The Best Campus Food ranking was based on a survey that asked students across America, “How do you rate your campus food?” From waffles and wood-fired pizza to fresh sushi and a hearty veggie burrito with a side of Mexican street corn, Rollins dining isn’t merely delicious, it’s also inclusive.
The recognition from The Princeton Review is the latest in a long line of accolades for Rollins’ dining. The College’s culinary acumen has also been recognized among the nation’s best by everyone from Niche and College Consensus to The Daily Meal and PETA2.
In 2021 and 2026, Rollins also won Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards from the National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS). One of the highest dining honors among colleges and universities, these awards recognize excellence and innovation in campus dining, highlighting institutions that set the standard for quality, creativity, sustainability, customer experience, and student engagement.
The College is committed to consistently expanding and enhancing its campus dining offerings. In keeping with that commitment, Rollins unveiled the 100-seat Tarpotle cafe in the East End Neighborhood, a brand-new residential community overlooking Lake Virginia.
From guava and brie melts, Cuban sunrise sandwiches, and honey butter chicken biscuits at breakfast to smash TarBurgers, churrasco skirt steak with fresh chimichurri, seared salmon, and made-to-order tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and edible taco bowls, Tarpotle offers a fresh and flavorful variety with something for every appetite.
