Starting July 1, Rollins’ human resources director David Zajchowski will serve a three-year term on the board of directors of CUPA-HR, an association of HR professionals in higher education. Serving more than 36,000 HR professionals and other campus leaders at nearly 2,000 member institutions and organizations around the country and abroad, the association offers learning and professional development programs; higher-education salary, benefits and demographic data; extensive online resources; and just-in-time regulatory and legislative information.

Zajchowski has been a member of CUPA-HR for more than 20 years. Throughout his time with the organization, he has been highly involved at all levels, serving for several years on the Florida Chapter board, including as chapter president from 2010 to 2013. He was also a Southern Region board member for six years, culminating in a term as board chair during the 2018-19 fiscal year. At the national level, Zajchowski has been a member of CUPA-HR’s Learning and Professional Development, Public Policy, and Research Advisory committees, in addition to participating in the Learning Framework Ad Hoc Group and acting as a guide for the Emerging CUPA-HR Leaders program. He has also served as a CUPA-HR conference ambassador.

“David is the epitome of higher-education and CUPA-HR leadership,” shares Andy Brantley, CUPA-HR president and chief executive officer. “He will be an outstanding leader and contributor to the work of the CUPA-HR board of directors.”
