2024-2025 Calendar

  • Residential Move In for RLE Resident Assistant/Peer Mentor staff: August 11th, between 9AM-12PM EST.
  • Residential Move In for New International Students: August 19th, between 9AM-10:30AM EST.
  • Residential Move In for New/Transfer Domestic Students: August 20th and 21st, between 8AM-2PM EST (students will receive individual move in times via email in early-mid July) 
  • Residential Move In for Returning Students: August 23rd and 24th, between 9AM-3PM EST (students will receive individual move in times via email in early-mid July) 
  • Classes Begin: Monday, August 26th
  • Fall Break (Halls Open): Monday, October 14th - Tuesday, October 15th (Holt classes will still meet during fall break) 
  • Spring 2025 Housing Application Opens (new to campus returning students and new/transfer students only): Monday, October 21st
  • Winter Break 2024 Housing Request Form Opens: Monday, November 4th
  • Spring 2025 ADA Housing Requests Priority Due Date (new to campus returning students and new/transfer students only): TBD

  • Last date for Fall Room Changes before they are Suspended until Spring 2025: Friday, November 22nd

January  

  • Residence Halls Open for Returning Active Sorority Women participating in Recruitment: Friday, January 3rd starting at 9AM EST. 
  • Residential Move-In for New to Campus Residential Students participating in Intersession, Potential New Members (PNMS) and Active Sorority Women: Friday, January 3rd between 9AM-12PM EST. 
  • Residence Halls open for Returning Residential Students participating in Intercession and Returning Student PNMs: Sunday, January 5th starting at 9AM EST. 
  • Spring Meal Plans Active: Sunday, January 5th for dinner. 
  • Spring Meal Plan Change Period Opens: January 6th at 12PM EST. 
  • Residence Halls Open for New International Students: Thursday, January 9th 
  • Residence Halls Open for New/Transfer Domestic Students: Friday, January 10th 
  • Residence Halls Open for Returning Students: Saturday & Sunday January 11th – 12th 
  • Classes Begin: Wednesday, January 15th
  • 2025-2026 Returning Student Housing Application and Returning Student Housing Exemption Application Open: Wednesday, January 15th at 12PM EST. 
  • Housing Accommodation Request Form Opens: Wednesday, January 15th at 12PM EST. 
    • Please note: All students intending to live on campus that need to request a housing accommodation must submit both the 2025-2026 Returning Student Housing Application and the Housing Accommodation Request Form.
    • Students that do not submit the 2025-2026 Returning Student Housing Application by the deadline will not be eligible for on-campus housing regardless of if the Housing Accommodation Request Form was submitted.

February

    • Incoming Student Housing Accommodation Request Form Opens: Monday, February 10th
    • 2025-2026 Incoming Student Roommate Matching Process Opens: Monday, February 10th at 12PM EST. 
  • Current Students 
    • 2025-2026 Returning Student Housing Application and Returning Student Housing Exemption Application Closes: Monday, February 17th at 12PM EST. 
    • 2025-2026 Returning Student ADA Housing Priority Deadline: Monday, February 17th at 12PM EST. 
    • 2025-2026 ADA Housing offers for students living in Residential Organizations (RO) Sent: Wednesday, February 19th
    • 2025-2026 ADA Housing offers for non-RO Returning Students Sent: Monday, February 24th
    • RO Housing Selection: Wednesday, February 26th at 10AM EST – Friday, February 28th at 2PM EST.
      • This selection period is only available to active members of Residential Organizations.

March

  • Current Students
    • Deadline for 2025-2026 ADA Housing offers for non-RO Returning Students to be accepted/declined/appealed: Monday, March 3rd at 12PM EST.
    • Deadline for 2025-2026 ADA Students to submit Roommate Requests: Monday, March 3rd at 12PM EST.
    • 2025-2026 Returning Student Roommate Matching Process Opens: Wednesday, March 5th at 12PM EST. 
    • Spring Break (halls remain open): Monday, March 10th - Sunday, March 16th
    • 2025-2026 Returning Student Roommate Matching Period Suspended: Tuesday, March 18th at 9PM EST. 
    • Returning Student 4-Person Room Selection Period: Thursday, March 20th between 1PM-4PM EST.
      • Roommate groups eligible for this selection period will be emailed a specific selection time within the timeframe established above.
    • 2025-2026 Returning Student Roommate Matching Period Re-opened: Thursday, March 20th at 5PM EST. 
    • 2025-2026 Returning Student Roommate Matching Period Suspended: Monday, March 24th at 10AM EST. 
    • Returning Student 5-Person Room Selection Period: Tuesday, March 25th between 1PM-4PM EST. 
    • 2025-2026 Returning Student Roommate Matching Period Re-opened: Tuesday, March 25th at 5PM EST. 
    • 2025-2026 Returning Student Roommate Matching Period Suspended: Thursday, March 27th at 10AM EST. 
    • Returning Student 3-Person Room Selection Period: Friday, March 28th between 1PM-4PM EST. 
    • 2025-2026 Returning Student Roommate Matching Period Re-opened: Friday, March 28th at 5PM EST. 
    • 2025-2026 Returning Student Roommate Matching Period Suspended: Wednesday, March 28th at 10AM EST.

April

  • Current Students
    • Returning Student 2-Person Room Selection Period: Tuesday, April 1st between 1PM-4PM EST. 
      • Roommate groups eligible for this selection period will be emailed a specific selection time within the timeframe established above. 
    • 2025-2026 Returning Student Roommate Matching Period Re-opened: Tuesday, April 1st at 5PM EST. 
    • 2025-2026 Returning Student Roommate Matching Period Suspended: Thursday, April 3rd at 10AM EST. 
    • General Housing Selection Period: Friday, April 4th between 1PM-4PM EST.
      • All students that submitted the Returning Student Housing Application that have not selected an assignment by this point will be issued selection times for this selection period.
      • Students in this process will be ranked first by seniority and then by the submission date/time of the Returning Student Housing Application.
    • Returning Student Meal Plan Selection Process Opens: April 7th at 12PM EST. 
    • Room Type Waitlist for 2025-2026 Opens: April 9th at 12PM EST. 
    • Summer & Maymester Housing Applications Open: April 10th at 12PM EST. 
    • Spring 2025 Extended Stay Housing Request Form Opens: April 10th at 9AM EST. 
      • The Spring 2025 Extended Stay Housing Request Form is applicable to: 
        • Students needing to stay on campus beyond the spring 2025 hall closure dates that are not participating in Summer/Maymester Housing.  
        • Students needing to stay on campus beyond the spring 2025 hall closure date but are not being requested to stay late by a campus department for a college-sanctioned event.  
    • Returning Student Meal Plan Selection Process Closes: April 18th at 12PM EST. 
    • Room Changes Suspended for Spring Semester: Friday, April 18th
    • Summer & Maymester Housing Applications Close: April 24th at 12PM EST. 
    • Spring 2025 Extended Stay Housing Request Form Closes: April 24th at 12PM EST. 
    • Classes End: Tuesday, April 29th
    • Summer & Maymester Housing Assignments Sent: Tuesday, April 29th

May 

  • Current Students 
    • Finals (students must check out of their residence hall 24 hours after their last final): Thursday, May 1st - Tuesday, May 6th 
    • Residence Halls Close (including Sutton & Lakeside Apartments) for Non-graduating Students: Wednesday, May 7th at 12PM EST. 
    • Residence Halls Close (including Sutton & Lakeside Apartments) for Graduating Seniors: Monday, May 12th at 12PM EST. 
    • Maymester & Summer Housing Move-In Day: Friday, May 16th between 9AM-12PM EST. 
      • This date is applicable to:
        • Spring residential students with a Summer Housing start date of Saturday May 31st or earlier. 
        • Non-residential (for spring semester) students with a Summer Housing start date of Friday May 16th.

June
