Marvels and Masterpieces

Facilitated School Visit

Recommended for Grades 3-12

Available T-F, 10am-3pm (Approximately 75 minutes)

Your students are guided through a selection of works included in special exhibitions at Rollins Museum of Art. These interactive tours introduce students to an array of traditional and contemporary works of art, often with global connections.

From the Vault: Highlights From the Collection

Facilitated School Visit

Recommended for AP Art History students & grades 9-12

Available T-F, 10am-3pm (Approximately 75 minutes)

This school tour enhances classroom learning by allowing students to closely examine original works of art directly related to the AP Art History image set. Students will discuss the artistic process, aesthetic value, and historical significance of works by Francisco de Goya, Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse, Jacob Lawrence, Kara Walker, and more.

Museum Classroom

Educators Grades 3-12

Explore multidisciplinary approaches for incorporating museum-quality works of art into your classroom teaching. This series of workshops introduces art educators to artworks from RMA's permanent collection and special exhibitions.

Each workshop explores an exhibition currently on view and includes, hands-on art activities, lectures, tours, group discussions facilitated by RMA educators.

Teacher Institute

Teacher Institute at Rollins Museum of Art is a free, week-long professional development program for art educators. The week culminates in an Open House for all art educators, during which the participants share the lessons they have developed.
