Vocal Academy Highlights & Daily Schedule

This six-day intensive program features:

Singing in the a cappella ensembles & Rollins A Cappella Academy Choir.
Performance opportunities.
Exciting workshops on topics such as jazz performance, auditions, working at the Walt Disney World Resort & others!
Daily music concentration discussions and demonstrations to enhance each participant's vocal instrument.

Sunday - July 7

4:00 pm - 5:45 pm: Registration & Check-In
4:15 pm - 6:15 pm: Ensemble/Vocal placement auditions
6:15 pm - 7:00 pm: Academy orientation for participants

Monday, July 8 - Thursday, July 11

9:00 am: Vocal Technique & Warm-up
10:00 am: Small a cappella ensemble rehearsals
11:00 am: Concert or Workshop
12:00 pm: Lunch Break
1:30 pm: Sectional rehearsals
2:00 pm: Small a cappella ensemble rehearsals
3:00 pm: Elective class
4:00 pm: A cappella Academy Choir rehearsal
5:00 pm: End of Day Pick-up or departure (30-minute private lessons by voice faculty for those students who have signed up for private instruction)

Friday, July 12

9:00am: Vocal Technique & Warm-up
10:00am: Small a cappella ensemble rehearsals
11:00am: Concert or Workshop
12:00pm: Lunch Break
1:30pm: Sectional rehearsals

7:00pm: Concert with members of Voctave
8:15pm: Post Concert Reception
