Student Support Foundation
The Student Support Foundation (SSF) is a student-led, philanthropic initiative that operates from a grant provided by The Morgridge Family Foundation. The organization is also supported by a number of Rollins College Campus Partners including Student & Family Care, The Hamilton Holt School, Sodexo, and The Center for Career & Life Planning. The SSF manages the Rollins Food Pantry and provides financial assistance to members of the Rollins community.
Eligibility for Financial Assistance
- Rollins students that can demonstrate financial need
- Rollins faculty/staff members who have exhausted other potential resources to start/continue projects that directly affect the well-being of Rollins students
- Scholarly: Books, school-related supplies, gowns/graduation materials, honor society dues, conference costs.
- Personal: Emergency travel, food, clothing.
- Community: Rollins Immersion experience deposits, leadership development opportunity costs, etc.
If you have any questions about the application process, or to find out if you are eligible to apply for funding from the Student Support Foundation, please e-mail ssf@rollins.edu.
Applications need to be in by 11:59pm on Sunday and will be reviewed during Common Hour on Thursdays. Our team will reach out to applicants within 72 hours of reviewing applications to provide an update on the status of the application.

Food Pantry Resources
The Student Support Foundation manages Tars pantry that is open to all members of the Rollins community. The service is confidential.
The contents of the pantry change according to donations received; occasionally there are fresh vegetables. There is also a limited amount of toiletries available.
The pantry is located in the Kathleen W. Rollins Hall Building 2nd Floor at the CLCE office from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and also by request. If would like to set-up an individual appointment to visit the pantry or are interested in donating non-perishable food or unused toiletry items to the pantry, please contact Sophie Foster (sburke@rollins.edu) for more information.
