Psychology major Shannon Burrows ’19 has started a new role as creativity director for Mammoth Design, a creative agency based in Sydney, Australia.
This past May, Rollins Professional Advancement graduate Shannon Burrows ’19 assumed a new role as creativity director at Mammoth Design, where she leads the creative team in developing strategy, direction, and content for clients’ marketing campaigns and product launches. Using creative problem-solving and grounded theory methodology, she focuses on human-centered storytelling and interpersonal relationships to drive the company’s creative vision. Previously, Burrows served as a senior solutions specialist at Deloitte, where she sharpened her knowledge and skills in organizational management and behavior.
“Working at a creative agency gives me the opportunity to combine my degrees into one career,” says Burrows, who majored in psychology and minored in creative writing at Rollins before earning a master’s in creativity and change leadership from Buffalo State University. “I’m so thankful for the rigorous academic experience I had at Rollins and for the attentive and knowledgeable professors, who were always there to help me when I needed it and prepared me well to pursue an advanced degree. I never felt like a number at Rollins.”
