Liefke Meyers ’06 ’14MLS has joined Foundation Academy as its new vice president of development.
Liefke Meyers ’06 ’14MLS joins the Foundation Academy after serving eight years at the Orlando Economic Partnership, where she maintained the highest private-sector funding for economic development in Florida.
In her new role, Meyers—who studied organizational communication and international affairs at Rollins’ Hamilton Holt School—will support the growth of the Academy through donor leadership and engagement. Foundation Academy is a private educational facility operating under the largest ministry of the First Baptist Church of Winter Garden. The school regularly ranks on lists of the top private Christian schools in Central Florida and has experienced unprecedented growth in the past seven years.
“I am blessed and honored to join this dedicated team who invests in our children’s lives with a priceless Christ-centered education,” says Liefke, speaking in a press release issued by her new employer. “I look forward to getting to know the Foundation Academy families and children as we all unite to support the exponential growth the school is experiencing now and into the future.”
